Blazing with Rach!

  God inspired me to write these words on 13 April 2021, 8:50am in Honduras when I was in this beautiful land.  I had arrived on 10 April 2021 and as my Honduran brother-in-Christ, Dany, met and drove me from the airport, I sensed such a deep spirit of depression and silence over this land.  When we drove to other parts of Honduras, this was also the sense I experienced.  The joy was lacking and this broke my heart. God also gave me Psalm 18 for dear Honduras which is so precious in His sight.  Do listen to Honduras, be Ready! Honduras, be ready! Joy seems to have taken a walk Away from Honduras.  Like countless Christians who have heard Ravi Zacharias (RZ) speak, read his books, quoted his words, I too was taken by surprise at the scandal that ensued after his death.  I was surprised by the deception that surrounded RZ than by the fall from the grace of God especially when I have heard that he travelled only with male staff to his international meetings.  Let us face this - we all step out of God's grace once awhile, sometimes more than necessary.  His love and forgiveness draws us back to HIm.  The investigation report makes it clear of RZ's many quiet moments where sexual misconduct could have happened. Coming from a military background, my ears have been assaulted by curse-words  and with sentences punctuated by expletives often enough.  In my uniform, I would stand and take such expressions coming from mostly male soldiers of different ranks as "normal".  I learnt at an early age that men enjoyed the beauty of women, fantasized about...

As I write this post, I am extremely aware that you, the reader might disagree with me over the hypocrisies listed below.  I am aware that I might lose some friends over this particular post.  But I am compelled to write as I need to be faithful to what God has spoken to me during my prayer time. So, with this understanding and the encouragement that I have received from Proverbs 12:22, I write.   My hope is that you do not assume the following: 1. That I am denying the existence of the covid virus 2. That I am against all vaccinations 3.  That I do not care about death Instead, I want you to know that I think: 1.  Covid virus exists but I consider it a little thing due to the 99% recovery rate. 2.  I have taken other vaccinations that has ensured that I will not be re-infected.  Covid vaccine has no such re-assurances.  3.  I care about every dying soul regardless of how they might have died - abortion (womb terrorism), cancer, jihadism, co...

  Well, I guess no one would think of abortion as womb terrorism.  I have been thinking much about why it should be termed as womb terrorism. photo credit: Aswinth Chembath First of all, let me state my position as a Christian.  I believe in the sanctity of life .  I believe that God values each life and has a great purpose for each life. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis 1: 27)   What an  honour to be created in the image of God and this happens but the first man and first woman made a mistake to disobey God and fell away from God's grace and favour.  This separation continues to the current generation and this fall is deep enough into the pit that the only possible rescue will be to reach out to the outstretched hands of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Even as He extends His hands, we too, as a fallen person need to reach out to grasp His hands.   photo cred...
